Rapper NAS among 2015 Recipients of the W.E.B. Dubois Medal at Harvard

 Contrary to popular belief many rap artists actively attend college while maintaining their career. Rappers such as J.cole, Ludacris, Talib Kweli, even have degrees. Due to this healthy relationship some artist are able to partner with these schools and enact change in the community.

Rapper Nas has been awarded with the W.E.B. Dubois Award at Harvard University. Alongside him were a host of other recipients. Both Men and women such as Artist Carrie Mae Weems  and even  Muhammad Ali who is currently battling parkinson disease, received the  2015 award for their Great humanitarian acts, as well achievements and contributions to the arts and culture.
