South Carolina has suffered on of the most tragic floods in history. Almost two feet of rain hit central and eastern South carolina last weekend.

Cities like Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach got hit hard. A by product of Hurricane Joaquin, a slow moving storm system, and unusually high tides, the result has been devastating.

Locals are saying this event is as bad as or worse than Hurricane Hugo which occurred in 1989.At least 14 people have been confirmed dead. Even after the rain stopped standing water is still an issue and several water systems have sustained damage including several breached Dams.
