This weekend I made my way to Charlotte, North Carolina Aka " Queen City to check out The new Retail Space "Artifact Public".
Their recent launch of the self titled in house clothing line was complimented by a sneaker collaboration with the veteran sneaker house Fila. The company also hosted a Sneaker release Party at the store to celebrate the occasion and release the sneaker to the public.
The Retail Space is located on South Mint Street, nestled in what is known as the Gold District slightly off the beaten path but within viewing Distance of Uptown Charlottes skyline.
Inside the store there is a full collection of their new line as well as a brand matrix that includes STAPLE, LRG, Play Clothes and several others. The company plans to introduce out more clothing brands and sneakers into the store in the next few weeks to come.
Completely bricked out with an industrial Gallery vibe on the inside, the store is brought to life by Modern Accents made for a very clean and Organized customer experience.
The sneaker collaboration featured their traditional black and white themed color story with an oreo speckle treatment on the Fila "M Squad" Model.
The shoe Retails for around 100$ and is limited to 100 pairs made sold in store only. The city was showing a lot of love and From the looks of it they will sell out fast.
For the Release Party, There was a live DJ and performances by several hip hop acts as well. The vibe was very cozy and upbeat. Eventually it was almost a packed house. I will definitely be retuning the next time I hit up Charlotte.
