#GOODREADS : I just Wanna Be Heard- by Abdullah Hassan

Its seldom that someone you know does a poetry book. Fortunately I was lucky enough to know Abdullah Hassan.  The Chicago Born Poet/Rapper has  just authored his first poetry book.

Titled "I just wanna Be Heard" the poet covers such topics as  Government corruption, Street Life, Empowering Women, Nature, the Battle of the Sexes and many more relevant issues of modern day existence.

I was even able to get an autographed Copy of the Book at his previous book signing at Urban Grind Atlanta. the next book signing is scheduled for December 5th details to be announced.


I think this book is a great one to have on the coffee table as a conversation piece or on the book shelf to share with the kids when they are ready for it.
