StreetLooks v2. - The Floral Woven

Volume 2 of #StreetLooks centers around the infamous Floral Woven.

 A timeless piece, yet very seasonal in nature.  This Particular top is mostly navy on the base with pops of Lava and Blue flowers with Polka Dots Hits on the pocket . 

The Chino style shorts have been paired with this top to accent and furthermore illuminate the features of the shirt. 

On feet , I selected the classic 

Chambray Vans to give the look a more cozy and down to earth vibe. 

This look was topped off with the matching floral bucket to give consistency throughout, and accented with gold necklaces and a gold watch.

As summer comes to an end these fashions will become passe' within the next month or so and we will be moving on to some early fall looks.

Song Of Tha Week: WESTSIDEGUNN - MR.T (prod. by Apollo Brown)

You are seriously sleeping if you haven't heard of WESTSIDEGUNN aka FLYGOD. Whenever I need a break from the bubble gum rap that often saturates the airwaves these days, I know I can depend on the music of Buffalo native, WESTSIDEGUNN,  to provide that clever grittiness that seems to be very under represented in today's rap world. WESTSIDEGUNN has been doing his thing for a minute now and just this year dropped two of the dopest albums that are in my current rotation. This one titled "FLYGOD" is the prototype of what a hiphop album is supposed to be. Complete with skits ,  amazing features, Grade A Production and most importantly,Bars, and Authenticity. Although he currently resides in Atlanta, You can definitely tell he is not a South Rapper or attempting to ride anyones wave. 

Expanding into the fashion world he already has a major wave of his own, releasing custom artwork, clothing and more through his label GXFR or Griselda Fashion Rebels.

Spotlight: Simone Biles- Olympic Gold Medalist

The USA Gymnastics team is no stranger to the spotlight. They are arguably the best in the World at what they do. This year at the 2016 Rio Olympics is no exception to the fact. 4 years ago every fell in love with the talents of at the 2012 Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas ( Who is still the Truth) , as the US swept the floor with their competition. Fast forward to 2016 and we have a new gymnast emerging in the Spotlight. 

Meet Olympic Gold Medalist , 19 year old Simone Biles. Born in the town of Columbus, Ohio, Simone's story is no Fairytale. Simone managed to achieve throughout a tumultuous childhood. Her Mother, who struggled with addiction placed her in the care of her Grandparents. 

Simone was homeschooled and graduated in 2015. Although she committed to UCLA, she planned not to enroll until after the 2016 Olympics. In the summer of Last year she announced that she would compete professionally, which voided her NCAA eligibility.

2 chainz just dropped his new mixtape titled DANIEL SON: Necklace Don. In the south, 2 chainz is definitely considered  both one of the OG's and still in his prime, so his music is some of the most Authentic and consistent in its genre. Staying true to form, he teams up with the "6 God" on this new track produced by Buddha Bless. I did make it thru the whole mixtape and this stuck out as one of my Favorites, also there is no hook...
